By booking an appointment via website or manually through the company means you are agreeing to the following:
  • Cancellations of services pre paid by credit card, PayPal or Afterpay payments are refunded at 80% back, Pay on the day payments have no cancellation fee. Cancellations made will mean your next appointment needs to be paid before making another booking. Extensions appointments cancelled where a payment for the hair has been pre paid is refunded at a rate of 50% back
  • Travel fees always apply with every service.
  • If you have made a booking and fail to be at the agreed booking address at the agreed time and date, your next booking must be paid before the appointment date.
  • If myself or our staff feel unsafe or uncomfortable in my home they have the right to refuse service. and leave at any time.
  • I understand that anything I choose to do with my locks outside of our professional services with our trained staff and against any advice given by us is your responsibility and we cannot be accountable for any outcomes.
  • I fully understand what can be achieved in a maintenance session and the overall results of my locks are in my hands with my at home dread care routine.
  • I have booked the correct details and service extras in my appointment and if any mistakes have been made you may not have time to add to the appointment on the day and that another booking may have to be made.
  • I have read, researched, and understand the dreadlock process and journey. All and any questions have been answered via the FAQ’s page or via contacting us before booking.
  • I have read and fully understand the extra care and life span of extensions. I understand what you offer and the results you can provide and have discussed and approved all aspects of the service.
  • I understand that it is not Amelia Jane’s dreadlocks responsibility if my scalp and skin do not react well to the dreadlocks or extensions and I understand that some people have different sensitivity to this hairstyle and that it is a risk you are willing to take with dreadlocks.
  • I understand that my hair needs to be a minimum of 15cms to start dreadlocks and if upon arrival my hair is to be found under this requirement there is a $100 no service call out fee.
  • Complaints or unhappy feed back must be reported within 7 days following the service. This will then be followed up with a free service for maintenance, anything mentioned after this time will be at the companies own discretion. Refunds for extensions or creations are not offered. Quality or work can be seen online and all details are discussed and agree upon via text before hand. If you wish not to go ahead with the job due to being unhappy with the job you need to say on the day of the service before we commence.
  • I understand and that you are providing this service as the safest most professional service to improve your outcome but that nothing is guaranteed, and that the desired results are not 100% guaranteed in one sitting.
