Honestly, it’s so nice having my own space and salon 🥹💕 Having my family around while I work, hubby bringing us coffee and my son painting in the background… good chats, good vibes and beautiful clients.
It genuinely feels like I’m just doing a craft that I love and somehow getting to call it work 😂
They say “do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life” and I really feel that. 🥰
So grateful I get to do what I love, in my own little space, surrounded by the people I love. 🌻💕
For my local clients, I’m absolutely still offering mobile appointments.
**BUT** if you’re able to come to my home salon, you’ll have **A LOT more options** when it comes to days, times and appointments available 🌻
Coming to the salon means I can offer more availability without having to factor in travel time, plus you get to come hang out in my little dread space 🩷
So if you’re local and wondering which option is best for you, just send me a message and we can work out what suits you best 🌞
Sending some love to everyone who`s been rocking their dreads for 20+ years! ❤️ That`s two decades of memories, growth, and an incredible journey. Happy Tuesday! 🌻 ♡ #dreads #longdreads #sunshinecoastdreads #brisbanedreadlocks #dreadlocks
I miss when social media felt a little more simple.
These days everything feels focused on algorithms, reels, trends and constantly trying to keep up. But honestly, I’d rather spend my time creating, living life and being present with my family.💕
I think that’s part of why I’ve always loved dreadlocks too. To me, dreads have never been about perfection or fitting into trends. They’re about freedom, individuality, simplicity and living a little more authentically.
So this page will stay pretty simple. A gallery of my work, real people, beautiful dreads, and moments I actually want to share 🌻
The “back layer triangle” look 😂 There’s probably a proper hair term for it, but this is what I mean when I talk about it.
That beautiful natural layering where most of the length sits through the middle and softly tapers out toward the sides and ends 💕
I especially love creating this look with dread extensions because I have more control over the final shape and layering. It gives such a natural flow look 🌻 These ends are also now called Fairy ends 🧚♀️
The dread nod is a real thing and nobody can convince me otherwise 😂
You know when you walk past another dread head and there’s just this silent little nod of acknowledgment like: “Yep… I see you. Respect.” 🤝
It’s like being part of a weird little unspoken club.
The funny part is I don’t even have dreads anymore and I STILL catch myself doing the dread nod to random people with locs 💕 Old habits die hard apparently.
Please tell me I’m not the only one hahaha. Do you give the nod or get the nod? 💁♀️
When researching a loctician, really look at their work. Their photos ARE their style, their strengths, their vision and the kind of locs they create consistently ✨
Not every loctician does the same thing, and that’s okay. Some love clean and polished, some love wild and organic. Some specialise in thick locs, some in neat grids, crochet work, instant locs or freeform.
Some do bold colours, some focus on natural tones. Some work with synthetic extensions, some only work with natural hair. Some love shorter loc styles, while others specialise in long mature locs.
If you’re wanting a certain look, find the artist already creating that look instead of asking someone to work completely outside their style.
You’ll always get the best results when you choose a loctician whose work already aligns with your vision 🌻
Honestly… just been living a simple life and not thinking about posting everything. And the more I do that, the more I realise simple really is better.
Which is also why I love dreads, less fuss, less time, still look good. It just makes life easier 🌻
I’ll try show up on here a bit more… but no promises, I like my little bubble 🫧
If you’ve been thinking about dreads, take this as your sign 👀
This photo looks fake, right? 😍 Nope… just me working late into the night on the beautiful Sunshine Coast 🌊✨
This sunset was the dreamiest backdrop for a fresh set of dread extensions I installed last week. Half a head for a returning client—her second dreadlock journey with me 🤎
I love what I do, I love where I get to do it… but I love my clients the most 💫 #brisbanedreads #dreadlocks #dreadextentions #dreadlife #longhair
Okay… this feels a bit awkward but I’m doing it anyway 😅
If you’re choosing someone for your dread journey, I think it’s important you know who you’re sitting with for hours… so here’s a little about me 🌻
I genuinely care about my clients. Like actually care. Not just while you’re in my chair, but before, after, and even if you’re not my client yet.
I keep things fair and easy: – small deposits only (for installs & removals) – I don’t get angry over cancellations (life happens) – my pricing is honest and competitive – super low, simple travel fees
I’m always here to help: – I’ll answer all your questions (no such thing as too many) – I’ll help you with your dread journey even if you didn’t get them done by me – I want you to feel confident, not confused
And when you’re with me: – I make sure you feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed – we can chat, laugh, or just chill, whatever your vibe is – I’m easygoing, open-minded, and genuinely kind
I’ve built this business on trust, good energy, and real connections, and I’m so proud of the community and reviews that have come from that 🥹
If you’ve been thinking about starting your dread journey or need someone new… I’d love to be your person 🤎

There’s something so special about a soft colour blend in dreadlock extensions 🌞✨
Not too bold, not too flat… just that perfect mix of tones that melts together and looks so natural 🌿
When you choose a soft colour mix, your dreads: – blend seamlessly with your natural hair – have depth and dimension (not one block colour) – grow out beautifully with less harsh contrast – give that effortless, sun-kissed, lived-in look ☀️
If you’re booking in and unsure what colours to choose, I’ll always guide you toward a blend that suits you. Each set of extensions are custom made.
Life’s too short to not get the hair you want. Wear the dress. Eat the dessert. Get the dreads. 🌻
Honestly… couples who dread together are my favourite couples, there’s just something about sharing the journey, the confidence, and the vibe together.
If you’ve been thinking about getting dreadlocks for *ages*, this is your sign to stop waiting. Do it now. Do it for you.
I’ve opened up **more hours over the coming weeks**, so it’s the perfect time to finally make it happen.

Come enjoy a beautiful day out with the family while getting your dreadlocks professionally maintained. Sunshine, salty air, good food, great conversation, and all the good vibes 🌊✨
If good energy, stunning views, and amazing dread maintenance aren’t your thing, I’m probably not your girl.
“How many dreads should I get underneath… 20, 10 or just 3?”
And then a few weeks later I get the message…
“I LOVE my dreadlocks, thank you so much. You were right, I already want another row 😅 Can we add more at maintenance?”
Happens. Every. Time. They are addictive in the best way.
Underneath dreads are perfect if you want: ✨ a change without going full head ✨ more volume without the commitment ✨ to ease into the dread life
The amount you start with depends on your hair, your lifestyle, how you wear it up, and how bold you’re feeling. That’s why I always say, let’s chat first.
📞 Call me and we’ll go through all your questions so you feel 100% sure before we start.
Found this absolute beauty while digging through my camera roll to show a client 🤍 Can’t believe I never shared it — clearly I’ve got some catching up to do on here. 2026 goals: less hoarding, more posting 😅✨
