METHOD
The method I use is the crochet hook method which is 100% natural and requires no product. It creates a clean, tight and straight dreadlock but the first-year-fluff is unavoidable. (Find out more about first-year-fluff here) My technique is gentle and pain free (with the exception of a few sensitive clients) I work fast with high quality standard of work, I’m a Perfectionist when it comes to my work.
SECTIONING
I have two styles of sectioning
Squaring/Brick pattern to avoid harsh lines and allows the dreads to fall naturally between each other.
Random selections is suitable for those who wish to achieve the appearance of naturally formed dreadlocks. The sections will vary creating a mixture of thick and thin sized dreadlocks.
DREAD STYLES & THICKNESS
There are a few things to consider before your booking.
Dreads come in various styles including closed and open ends, thin and thick as well as wobbly and straight. A quick google/pinterest search will give you some insight into what style of dreads you’re after. Remember to keep in mind the natural texture and thickness of your hair when deciding on the type of dreads you would like. Feel free to message, call or email me any questions before booking and we can always sit down together before hand and discuss any questions you might have.
